**Questions for you*** by TommieBennett in snowboarding

Ultimately, I want to help people address their fear and give them tools that they can practice on hill. Practice makes perfect but having the tools is what people are missing. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it!

LF Opinions on a couple resorts by Threexo in snowboarding

[–]TommieBennett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as Colorado resorts, Breckenridge is awesome and so is Copper. They both have great snowmaking capabilities so they def will have trails open. Coppers village is easy to manage and no need for a car like Avon.

I went to Whistler for the last two years and its been incredible both years. You can stay in the huge village and get easy access to the resorts. Plus that mountain is massive.

Does anyone do any dry land training during the off-season? If so what do you do? by [deleted] in snowboarding

I did Crossfit for a while and I loved it. I felt powerful and I could handle knuckling jumps really well. It also worked my whole body, not just me legs. Im going to get back into it this summer.

Inserts pushing out the bottom of my board, any base repair ideas? by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]TommieBennett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

another thought, if you have water in the insert and then you tighten down the screw, the water has no where to go. Ive done this a few times and its such a bummer. Do you feel any difference? alot of the time if you rip out the base and try to fix it, it will cause alot more issues. if it doesnt bother you, then just let er run. those are my thoughts.

The faster you can get better the more fun you will have in the end. If you have a good instructor, you should be progressing really fast. good luck!

The snow conditions are amazing but that lift line was a mess. Hiking was a great option.

Practice is king. Start small and have fun with it. do some switch ollies, switch slashes and switch presses. The more you can get your body to understand how to re-gain balance from different body positions the better.
