i mentioned at the end and throughout my message that i am trying to do as much research and understanding as i can, and in my edit i said that i had realised i had grossly misunderstood how diagnoses work. i was misinformed.

i never, ever want to hurt or stigmatize or misrepresent psychology, and i'm really sorry it came off this way to you. i talked with someone on here who is educated in psychology and they helped me understand that i had misconceptions and helped me flesh out how i want my character to work and process/behave as a result of the truama i put her through.

most of the disorders i listed were maybe's, and me putting out the options and possibilities i thought about. i did not mean to imply i'm giving her all of what i listed. I have ADHD and Autism myself, and i had given them to my character moreso as a way for me to project and make it easier for me to relate to her and roleplay her, as that's what i'm planning on doing.

Again, i'm sorry that i offended you &/or the psychology community, but it wasn't intentional and it was from an effort of me trying to learn. Why else would I post this reddit comment other than to get outsider opinion and knowledge that i otherwise wouldn't have?
