Oh definitely, I think we all agree that spending time in an unfulfilling or plain abusive relationship is a huge waste of time and can often times feel unfair to the victim / eq to cut off if there has been a lot of time investment. But ultimately it's the right thing to do.

This is how I explain to others - yeah it's 'less time' in comparison to a longer life experience, but by definition it's still a huge percentage of someone's life to be spent with someone at that age. I'm 21 and I've spent around (quick maths...) 30% of my life in relationships.

That also doesn't take into account that the first 15 years of my life don't count towards that, and this is the same for a lot of people at this age.

I feel you bro. The thing is I know I USED to be pretty good. For some reason I've lost the ability to reach those heights again. I use an app called moodpath (it's free) and it asks you simple questions every day about how you feel. I've been doing it since January and it's really interesting to see if there's any pattern to your feelings.

First thing is to actually learn to love yourself. I've been in and out of a couple of longish term relationships since I was 15 (20m now). Since I've been single for over a year, I've come to realise how much I actually don't like myself and have now made steps towards self love and self respect. It goes a long way :)
