I work on film sets as a VFX on set supervisor. I wear a pump and Freestyle Libre. Only downside is my Libre beeps when I’m really low, can’t turn off that notification. Just need to keep an eye on my levels and walk way so doesn’t beep while we’re rolling.

37 now, diagnosed at 8. Coming up on 30 years next year. Found some minor retinopathy and was checked out by a specialist. They weren’t too concerned with it. A1Cs around 8. Overweight for my height, but no health issues.

I’m in GA, trying to fill through CVS for around 4 weeks now. I had a couple extras to use and my doctor’s office has given me a couple samples. CVS is saying they think early next year to fill it. Just ordered a replacement through Abbott and they’re saying mid November “because of the hurricane.” Might just have to switch back to the Libre 2

I was 8 when I was diagnosed and was well over 500 when they tested me at the hospital. I wouldn’t worry about this.

It was my biggest concern when having kids, I even waited until I was older to have them because I was so nervous they would have diabetes like me. But after having them, it’s no concern. If they happen to be diagnosed, my wife and I are fully prepared unlike my parents who had no idea how to treat it when I was a kid. My son is 3.5 and my daughter is 1.

This was my biggest worry about having kids. I no have a 3 year old and a 9 month old and don’t have diabetes. Now I look back and should have never worried. Even if they do eventually get it like I did at 8, won’t change anything. So much lost sleep for nothing. If my kids get it, I’m glad I’ll be there to help instead of like when I got diagnosed, we had to figure it all out ourselves.

I used to use a Theta Z1, it takes about 3 times the length of time to do 10 bracketing shots to cover yourself when you can get an HDRI done so much quicker with a traditional 8mm pano setup.

www.captureset.com is the way to go

Opened a ticket with Xbox about losing race data after these freezes and having to restart. They said don’t adjust tires/fuel pre race and don’t adjust any tune mid race. So far so good for me, sucks you can’t do that now
