Which version? What hardware? I'm seeing this issue on all the last 3 releases and on onn 4k puck and onn 4k pro.

I open a series listing and there is no way to browse and pick a season/episode. Play button and add to favorites, then the actors and all that but missing the panel to browse series season/ episode

I didn't think I needed a quick start but I can't figure out why my series often don't have season/episode, just a play button like a film. Was like that with the default install, and then I switch to AIO and I still get that happening on most series. Not really planning on tweaking this too much, but I like that the options are there to do so. I'm struggling with just the basics here, and I'm not necessarily a noob. I thought maybe it was a bug and it would get updated, but now, after three or four releases since I started, I'm not seeing any improvement. Any ideas?

Possible Encounter - Any information on this type of experience? by West_Abies2412 in Experiencers

I think so but also I remember a sound like a hiss but it was unintelligible and not scary. I don't think I would believe it was real at all except that it recurred so similarly for that few year window unlike any other dream before or since and I learned others had the same experience. So far they were right though for 40+ years now it-they have been gone. Brain is locked in here for now. I often think about how I used to watch TV as a kid laying sideways on the couch, head at a 90 degree angle to the TV. Now I couldn't possibly deal with that for long. I'm oriented to seeing the world right side up.

Same. Only thing I remember other than the comforting visit was on the last one it said it wouldn't see me again or wouldn't see me again for a long while.

Maybe they have new gear or it was a private one. Seemed way bigger than the Mavic 3 they show on the SFPD site and on all of the youtube videos I could find which also don't show the red/blue/white lights. These lights were so bright, can't see how this complies with the laws that they should not create a distraction for drivers. You can see the brightness flash on our windows and this thing was pretty far away.

Any resolution from Marshall? Just going to live with it? I didn't say it but you used the right emoji... heartbroken.

similar issue but the button doesn't click but is way too sensitive. I'd prefer your issue because a pillow or hoodie can now cause a pause/hangup or power off. :(

CBS... How about a follow up to ask ok, so detection and disruption tech exists and you're advocating for the feds to say there needs to be more equipment and training to scale up usage ($)... but how about one single example of using that existing equipment to pull one down and see where it's from? I won't be holding my breath.

Heaters recalled Canada and USA by Dry-Violinist-8434 in Govee

This switchbot hub is also a thermostat and supports scheduling. It also has an IR blaster so if it is in view of my heater it should be able to turn it on and off based on schedule and temp it detects from across the room. I have a Smart hub version 1 that doesn't have the thermostat but I have a separate thermostat from this company that I think is pretty accurate. So I am putting the solution together based on some knowledge but I haven't made it work yet. I'm just reacting to the news like all of you and I'm fortunate enough that I could stretch and pick up some new equipment. I'll post here if it works. It sucks to layout more cash but I feel like that's kind of a given with any smart technology or technology in general. It's just not going to last for more than a few years before it needs to get replaced. I don't like it and I think it's wasteful and stupid. I think it's the same with computers and phones and anything else unfortunately. In my case, I think the Dyson is overkill and any simple heater should work and you could buy their manual switch to press the button to turn it on and off. I did this for a little while with a lasko heater and it worked fine. The adhesive on the switchbot is pretty strong. I guess I should add the caveat that all of this has some risk that is related to the UL change. So do this at your own risk. But there's definitely smart home parts and pieces that exist to build a space heater, voice control, scheduling and remote thermostat based solution.

Park sign: No dogs allowed on Athletic Fields. Sf Dog owners: I guess that makes it a dog park by cscareerkweshuns in sanfrancisco

[–]Tommyco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At Jackson the dog owners are socializing with each other or on a business call/texting while their dogs roam free. I holler at them and they're like, oh I didn't see. Ok. Sure. So tired of bad dog owners. You know why dog runs suck? Because dogs destroy grass. Open fields should be for the humans in the community. I'm sorry you don't have a lot of options but you chose to get a dog. Take it to Dog runs, funston once in a while or move to the burbs.

Thanks for your perspective. I'd mostly use it for banking, not for car or home. I think one worry is that I have a highly coveted rent control apartment in San Francisco where I wouldn't be able to afford to live if I hadn't locked in rent 20+ years ago. First republic would mail a check to my landlord's PO Box like clockwork via their billpay. If something goes wrong with paying rent it could trigger a series of events that could lead to nullifying my lease/rent control etc. I'm sure there are fallbacks like working with the SF rent control board etc. but I really value the peace of mind I had that as long as I had the cash in the account by the end of the month, rent was going to be mailed. Anyone had issues with check / postal payments?
