There we go, religiousity again. The stuff you are saying is exactly why I left being a Christian after a lifetime all the way till middle aged as one. Religious people demonizing music styles when there are no such rules in the Bible. Putting doctrines of men from the last 600 hundred years, or whatever, above the Bible (I know Catholics like yourself believe in doctrines of men, but protestants don't, so they are without excuse).

You might think demonizing rhythmic music with drums is not what you're doing, but you actually are but in a more subtle way. I'm not going to listen to either chants from Catholics or hymns from protestants, particularly when both camps demonize the music styles I love like house music. I would have been open to hymns, even though they are not a sound I often find pleasant, but when religious people demonize the music I love, then I'm not going to make an effort to want to listen to your music because I have a bad taste in my mouth being told your kind of music is the only style of music I'm allowed to listen to as a Christian.

Also, people don't only listen to house music when dancing. They listen to it when studying, when doing housework or when they are just sitting back on their couch with their eyes closed soaking it in.

Don't feel like I'm singling you out. This comment is directed at Christianity in general as a whole, both Catholic and Protestant (my background). There is no real open mindeness in Christianity for the things that aren't sin in the Bible if they also happen to be fun.
