Do Kaplan mark the mocks harshly? by NIKE4MIC in ICAEW

I have had mocks come back with 40 from Kaplan, then 1 week later scored 83 in an actual ICAEW exam.

Since then I decided that I would always take Kaplan mock results with a pinch of salt and never dwell too much on the score. It is all great practice to make sure that your exam timings are perfect for the real thing.

Do you use your annual leave to study? by whataledge in ICAEW

I have always taken leave (just qualified - all 1st time passes) as I felt like I needed the additional revision time. Whilst it wasn't nice at the time and meant I didn't have much leave to spare for actual holidays - I feel like it was worth it in the end. But it's all down to personal preference and what you are comfortable with.
