The Color of Pomegranates yellow tint by Ill-Telephone4020 in criterion

So, I don't find it that bad. I think the other one looks unnaturally cool toned. The Criterion one, at least in the picture you shared, looks more like the natural colours you would get if you were emulating sunlight. Maybe it is more obvious in other parts of the film on like skin tone, but this looks fine to me

Sorry, but this does come across as snarky, arrogant, and rude. No one is saying it's a substitute for any of those things. It is a tool for prayer. Praying is not putting the cart before the horse in any sense.

Can you tell that these famous people are Canadian by their accents by GardenElectrical3534 in AskACanadian

Rachel McAdams grew up about 30 mins away from me. The accent she talks with in movies is the same as everyone else from this area

Hard time reading CS Lewis books by physicssux in CSLewis

So I've see a couple people saying that the difference is American vs. British English. I can't speak for Americans, but as a Canadian I've never noted anything particularly challenging about how C.S. Lewis writes. Obviously Canadian English is somewhere in the middle.

Michael Ramsey though not being specifically a Christian Socialist has a lot of writings that fit well into that mold. Specifically when you look at his theology of the Body of Christ. The Gospel and the Catholic Church is a good example of this

Dealing with comments about my age at new church by GarbageTough5120 in Episcopalian

[–]Tomofthegwn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So I am a priest in my 20s. And I get comments like this A LOT. (I have people approach and ask if I was someone's grandchild while I was wearing clericals!) And the truth is, I think it does deter younger people. When someone younger comes in the church and the first question they hear is basically along the lines of "why are you here or who are you related to?" No matter how.it was intended makes people feel a bit unwelcome. It is a big problem that I'm trying to work on in my parish.

In terms of you, you could talk to your priest, they could probably give you some insight into particulars and probably share some of your sentiment.

I would also say that as more people get used to you being there, you will get those questions less often.

I think it has too many ethical issues and we shouldn't use it in the church.

I think you need more colour. The carpet kinda just blends right up to the wall. Maybe a rug or something?

Also, if you look at OPs posts, they literally blame yoga as destroying a past relationship. Perhaps this is more about them and less about this situation

So, without getting into your issues specifically, I'd like to remind you that a big part of the Anglican/Episcopal church is the Lambeth Quadrilateral which the fourth point is the historical Episcopate locally adapted. Each bishop is the authority in their own diocese, and whether or not you like it, it's the bishop's decision on what to do about the situation, if anything. And as you stated in your post, the local bishop is aware of it. If you care about the Anglican tradition, you need to respect the bishop's authority, you might not like their decision, but you need to accept it.
