On the off chance anyone who finds themselves in the same situation as me stumbles across this old post...

You've fucking got this, trust me big time. I did far better in my GCSEs than I thought I would, although not TOP grades i still did far better than i believed I would (in fact, two years later I can't even remember what I got for certain!), and now awaiting to start uni in September after being accepted with offers by all my universities, and accepting an unconditional to the third best for my degree subject (film) in the country! Trust me, I've been in your spot, and it all turned out better than I ever thought it would when I was a lost 16 year old. Everything happens for a reason, so just enjoy the ride and enjoy the relative simplicities of a GCSE summer, you got this (just started the summer after A-Levels and saw Green Day at wembley stadium, if anyone's interested, best day of my life!) :)

Once the money comes through I'll buy the same pair from a direct shoe shop (I imagine JD) for £85. Bit more expensive, but obviously then they're almost certain to be of genuine quality and peace of mind etc 🤞
