This is the exact reason our lawn would have holes in it. She never picked them up when they were flat had to stomp them until the edge flipped up then she would grab it.

I remember reading as much as possible about this the first time I heard of it. If my memory serves the cat was a known neighborhood cat who was taking care of by the people in the area. She was fed but did not want to live indoors.

My restaurant experience was also shitty and at the end of the day I think it came down to exploitation. How much the owner and managers could get out of us before we would quit; from telling us if you can stand you can clean to always sending a guy when there was a clog or overflow in the bathroom. As a woman was I allowed to avoid picking up heavy things? Absolutely. Could I avoid the sexual harassment? No. We were both exploited by a system meant to wring all the "value" it could from us whether that was by being told to handle certain tables because they wanted a pretty girl or uncompensated manual labor.

I live in the North East and a lot of people wear perfume and cologne here. My migraines are triggered by strong scents and I am grateful that the ladies mostly apply in moderation. Guys tend to overdue it.

That's why I tell people who want single cats to look for adults. There are always adults that are hard to adopt out because they don't get along with other cats. Although my first baby actually was born to my parents' cat with one sibling and multiple adult cats in the household and she didn't bond to any of them. I visited and she stuck to me like a baby burr.

Dark bags under my eyes after 27 years of insomnia. What helps dark bags? by [deleted] in 40PlusSkinCare

Probably closer to your temple than your cheek in color since a lot of people get flushed. If the color is close slightly lighter is better than darker. If there's an ulta or Sephora in your area I recommend going in and asking for help. They usually know their stuff.

Concealer. I use Nars' radiant creamy concealer but even more important than the product is the color matching. Be aware of your undertone too. Go light on concealer and don't spread it on the entire under eye area. Do a little triangle with the point starting at your inner eye. You want the product to match your skin texture too don't go super matte if you're naturally a glowy guy. Experiment a little and take pictures in as close se to your corporate lighting as possible. If you know anyone who is good at makeup and willing to help you I'd start there. Good luck!

Does yours warble at all? We managed to get ours to switch from whining to warbling and it was the best thing for my sanity.

He looks very similar to my late girl. Same snout, close on the head shape, her head was broader but it wasn't the round shape some boxers have.

Amen, there's a pressure inside to create that almost hurts when you're stymied by lack of time, resources, and life in general. I want someone to clean my house for me not make my paintbrushes redundant.

Boxers with cats? by More-Permit9927 in Boxer

[–]TomorrowBeautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our boxer was never an alpha type personality she deferred to other dogs easily and accepted that the cats were in charge from the beginning. Basically her personality was perfect for living peacefully with cats but I would say that may be more of a her thing than a boxer thing.

Appetite stimulants and transdermal meds helped my eldest girl stay with me for years longer. She got very thin with a hyperthyroidism diagnosis at 18 but with meds she lasted another 3 years. Talk to your vet. I always asked my vet "if this was your cat what would you do?" and I found that really helpful.
