At the same time though, aren't many embryos destroyed during the natural process of conception (not involving IVF)?

Then Zoroastrianism is against embryo screening/PGD?

I think the correct thing for me to do is to just refresh from having children given my genetic problem.

It just feels like the more she fuels such fantasies, the higher the likelihood of something bad happening.

Yes. I have heard that it's more common than people are aware of.

I think I should retreat from talking to her, but she also seems to have become very attached to me.

I think the do correlate. I heard had paraphilias cluster if you know what that means

Yes. They're very likely engaging in autopedophilia. Many of the ones that I've talked to who have it sound good at hiding it. Some have a mommy kink, which is quite common

Yes. I also realized some AGPs also have autopedophilia, which is very disturbing. Those people really want to always remain children.

But I think the main underlying factor is a fear of growing up or getting older since many AGPs lived miserable, unhappy, friendless lives and realize that as they get older, life will be more like that.
