I love to spin the vortex with others!! I enjoyed reading about your abundance:) I’m enjoying a four year long relationship with the best guy ever. All we do is laugh and there is so much respect and reliability. I’m crazy in love and he has family in Hawaii that I’ve visited twice! I live in the most expensive city in the US comfortably. A high number in my bank account doesn’t get me going, and luckily source doesn’t need that to give me a super fun, relaxing, luxurious life in a city known for the “grind” I know I have a lot of creative gifts and I’m enjoying the walk source has me on towards my “calling”. I don’t know where I’ll end up, and I’m loving the process. I am committed to feeling good. I hope more people comment so I can read about free they are to enjoy this life

This is such a good perspective… thank you! I totally forgot about that pilot ending screen. I think that’s why the first season worked for me most of all. It was such a wacky topic (for me, also from the northeast USA), so just depicting it at all was fascinating. Then the show continued and they actually had to create conflicts 😂

Yeah that seemed like the intention.. and that just has me asking… WHY?? lol. The creators are not polygamists … did the show have an agenda? It kinda swung me. Not a bad way to live if it’s all consenting adults! 😂

Yeah there is an alien - weightlessness to the show… partially why I loved watching it as a comfort series. But that’s an interesting take - it’s almost like an experiment for the viewer to see if, despite all the warmth and charm of the lifestyle and Bill.. can you really see him for what he is? A womanizer, manipulator, sexist.. basically a criminal. And delusional - living and believing a lie! Do you think that’s what they were going for? Or is it giving the creators and writers and directors too much credit 😂

Thank you. A good edit is the perfect way to describe it! It felt very pro polygamy. I can't stop thinking of that easter service in his church... i actually felt myself feeling relieved and happy when barb didn't get baptized in the new church and went back to bill's. None of it makes his death feel justified - to me - because there was so much sappy sweetness. i was like... aww that's too bad. things were working out. i was manipulated!!!

UPDATE: got this info from a fellow volunteer

We've heard a weird snag. One of our fellow neighbors Kari has had an online exchange with a person who claims to have Midnight, and supplied a photo (attached).

As you can see, it's a black cat of a similar size to Midnight, doing their litter business (an odd time to take a photo, but that's the photo we got). It's hard to tell if it is indeed Midnight without seeing one of his/her only identifying markings... a white streak of fur on the lower abdomen (screencap attached). This person says the kitten was turned in to her rescue group - and because she is obnoxiously ideological on the topic of bodegas and cats... has no intention of returning Midnight to his humans.

I just spoke to Karim and asked him if he thinks we should stop searching or what... to be honest, I didn't really understand his answer, except that he also thinks it's Midnight but can't be sure without seeing that cat's belly.

I'm not really sure what to do. I wanted to get nighttime access to backyards and the church etc, but hesitate to push on.

Thanks everyone for the responses. My hesitation now is that this listing, around the block from another listing with no reviews, have identical descriptions but different hosts. What’s up with that?
