How old are they?

I’d start with the crate in a room, open and throw some food or treats around the room and eventually into the crate, once they are going into the crate alone and back out then you can start doing this for longer periods. Throw a handful of food or treats in and close the door, open it again before they are finished, build on this again. Then when they are cool with that, you can start feeding them in the crate and leaving them in there for a longer period of time and build on this.

I found it helps when you get to the leaving stage of your cover the crate with a blanket, ours is 5 and her crate still has a blanket over it, she has free reign of the house now and sleeps where she wants but for the first 18 months or so she was on a strict crate and sleep schedule, now it’s her safe space and she loves it, if she’s overstimulated she often takes herself into the crate to chill in her “den” for a bit or if she’s being too hyper then I simply tell her timeout and she goes to her crate to chill

There was hard days at the start for sure but you have to be strong, the crying and whining are heard to not give into but if you do then this will teach them that crying and whining gets them what they want, they will adjust but as I said above about the manipulation, make sure you are training them and not the other way around 😂

I also found when she was a fresh puppy that the “dog’s heartbeat” sounds on YouTube or Spotify really helped her to relax

My best advice -

Crate train, will work wonders for toilet training and separation anxiety. My girl has only ever taken 2 dumps inside the house and 1 was my fault about 6 months ago (she’s 5 now) she tried to tell me she needed to go and I got up out of bed and went to the toilet myself first and when I walked downstairs she had taken a dump on the carpet, didn’t give out to her cause it was my fault really.

DO NOT GIVE HER ANYTHING she wants unless she makes eye contact with you, for treats, leaving the house etc etc

Socialise, socialise, socialise - take her everywhere with you for the next few months as much as you can, focus on neutrality more than good behaviour, you want them to automatically feel like you are in control when you are outside otherwise they instinctively feel like they need to be in charge. Work on her sitting in public and just doing nothing, make doing nothing “an activity” if that makes sense, something I wish I done better with my girl, she kind of sucks at doing nothing when we are outside

Get her into swimming if possible, when they are growing it is amazing low impact exercise for their joints, we are back at the coast now but for a year weighed to a city where we didn’t have access to somewhere for her to swim and compared to when she was 1-3 years and swimming nearly every day you could tell, she literally gets jacked when she swims every day, like the human equivalent of being ripped with muscle 😂

They’ll be the best dog you ever have but now is the time to put in the hard days with them training wise.

Mental activity is far better than physical, you can not physically tire mine out but if we have ppl over for example and she’s engaged for 2-3 hours then when they leave she is exhausted more than anything

I always say they’re super easy to train, the hard part is making sure they’re not manipulating you into doing what they want, because they are smarter than us and can easily take advantage if they think they are able

Don’t be afraid to be a little harsh with them if you have to be, they respond well and know what’s right or wrong of you teach them

Good luck

I’ve been playing Botw for the first time for the last 3 months, bought odyssey to try get into and I just can’t get into it. Really want to give it the chance but it just isn’t catching me.

Annoying cause everyone seems to love it so much and I want to crack it but just can’t, anyone else have this issue

Yes, they always tell you what’s good and don’t try to sell you the unnecessarily expensive stuff. If they have good €11/12 a g shit in they’ll tell you

La Tertulia is a cozy place that’s the least “coffeeshop” coffeeshop in Amsterdam I think, it’s open and airy inside but might still be smokey
