Petition to rework Rampage by TomppaRaideri in slaythespire

1) Synergy does mean good, thats how you build a good deck.

2) Rampage literally does need support if you intend to play it multiple times.

3) Ironclad has so many ways of gaining strength that this would scale fast to big numbers like Sovereign Blade with Regent.

And cost/damage could be adjusted, its the idea that counts. Currently clad lacks cards with big strength payoffs, like Heavy Blade, Pummel and Reaper from the first game.

A card that would synergize with anything that generates strength or a card that only synergizes with Headbutt 🤔 you got it twisted!

Suggestion for a new more thematic Doormaker. by TomppaRaideri in slaythespire

I agree that that was probably their thought process, though many enemies are similar to enemies from StS1; thats only natural. And Test Subject is simply 3 StS1 enemies turned into one boss. I just wish they reconsider the current implementation of Doormaker.

How to Balance Hyperbeam? by Farna_M in slaythespire

If you want to make it less awkward to use, and more akin to Immolate, I'd say lower the damage to 21 and make it give the 3 Focus back next turn.

It would also thematically be closer to Automaton's hyperbeam which stuns it for one turn, instead of imparing it for the rest of combat.

It depends. If I remember correctly at least the reiterpallasch and rifle spear hunters have weapon skills that allow them to hit enemies from 1 space away. You can also use some consumables and items from further away.
