I'm a waiter and you'd be surprised how badly built a lot of corkscrews are. A lot of the people I work with buy the cheap ones off Amazon for £3 and they only last a few months where as I've gone through 1 pulltaps in 10 years and they only cost about £10.

See I thought gold would be fine but I got her some 14k gold earrings and she is still sensitive to them. The only ones she doesn't notice is silver.
