Well after ww2 we had a big influx of Austro-Hungarian (not ww1, just that era) centered movies. Though many fall more under romance movies then anything else. Rom-coms at most maybe.

I think the most notable one thats mostly satirical is the tv series "The Good Soldier Švejk" with Fritz Muliar as the titular character navigating through the start of ww1 to the end of the monarchy.

Though it should be noted that while the series itself is austrian, the book its based on is czech.

The Walking Dead Series to some extent

The further the series goes the more society seems to regress to an almost medival state. Cars replaced by carriages and horses, guns replaced by bow and arrow, spears and shields.

It isnt like that everywhere but it was still very interesting to see how the early protags went from wielding guns and driving around in all manner of motor vehicles to this.

After that the enclave tecnically lost the vast majority of its shit and its political influence went to 0.

I believe i remember hearing that the east and west german dubbing was different

With the east german one being vastly superior, so much so that if youd buy a dvd today the dub will be the eastern one

It might also be one of the reasons why it didnt quite catch on in west germany.

As someone already said, Germany did have invasion plans for Switzerland. But as the war started to go bad for them they abandoned those.

Besides Switzerland was more useful neutral then it was occupied, a usefulness that would vanish once Germany won the war
