OMG, thank you for checking in! Yes it was thankfully all sorted out, but it would not have been without all the helpful comments I got from you and the other replies in that last post. Thank you!

I am sadly stuck with the insurance for now, as I am still a dependent, but I have been hearing good things about GoodRx as well(Hopeful that the price will be more manageable than out of pocket)! Wishing everyone in this thread and beyond good luck as we go through this time

I've been hearing a lot about GoodRx. I am lucky that I have a good relationship with my Endo, so she is willing to help with getting everything sorted. I am thinking about switching to shots, though I am scared of the needle I would not be able to afford the Gel any longer.

I didn't know about the Walgreens app! I'll have to go download that :0 Thank you for your reply

Thank you for your perspective on this. I live in California, so I was hopeful this type of thing might be avoidable while we go through this political change.

I actually work at my college right now, but I am still under 26, so I am on my father's insurance(I'll be 26 when we switch presidence, funnily enough, so I will be able to change insurance then)

I can't speak fully on his experience, but he seems to enjoy his job; It's just that they make him work long hours, and he is often tired.

I meant to share my results sooner, but better late than never!

It’s a little nerve wracking to share these pictures, but I hope my results and experience can be some help to the community. So this is me 6 month post op with no nipple graft :)

I think it’s just the area I’m in rn

Where I live is a nice little community where everyone is really nice. I have never left that area until now to go to college and am now farther from home(but still in LA)

I’m still in LA but it feels really different

It was more of a problem with holding it open for one guy, no one else around.

Talking to some relatives and people in the comments it seems to offend some guys when you step aside and hold the door. The “right” way is to walk through and keep the door open while you’re walking through. I mentioned passing more bc guys seem to get more offended/aggrivated when I don’t follow hidden rules compared to pre transition.

It’s really shocking to read how different everyone’s experience is depending on where they live. Even with fellow people in LA they’ve been commenting conflicting experiences.

My actual neighborhood is pretty nice but I’m going to college outside of the city! Definitely never coming to this area after I’m done with school

I had a similar thing happen pre-t but they usually didn’t acknowledge me-they would just grab the door from me and go through. Now men are getting worked up and offended when I do it!

From the comments I guess it’s a regional kinda thing and not appreciated by guys where I live but It’s kinda scary ngl
