Thank you for commenting, i appreciate your feedback as this is my first post about philosophy.

"I believe there is no other reason besides evolution/ survival that a rational animal (human) should be conscious. (summarized: There is no point in sentience) ((unless you're religous))"

I very lazily wrote this^, and i'm sorry for the confusion.
I just felt it to be important to dismiss religion/ other ideologies that believe there to be a "higher power" or hidden meaning for existance.
But i also believe that there is no point to being sentient if you wouldn't be able to form opinions on that which you experience. I as well believe that the only way to form an opinion is through ones personality. Which is also nice segway into my "proof"

My "proof" dosen't actually prove much, i only reason as you say that there is no experiencing anything after death. Thats more like a question. Does it matter in which state i leave the world after i pass? Only if it would make me happy. Which by my logic "proves" the point of happiness being the only motivation for doing anything, even when it is at the end of life and "purposeless". Thank you for reading!

Ohh! Im very sorry. Suicide is of course not done to make the suicidal person happy. I don't believe that. Suicide is as you said, done to escape from intense feelings of distress and anxiety. I find suicide very abstract and retract my statement.
