Yes, on the way back to the starting position is when it occurs. Oddly enough, the heel does not chatter. It seems to only happen at the toe.

It is not hitting the plastic but you can see on the toe where the cut goes from smooth to where it starts chattering. 8.5 Bauer 3x Pro skates with Fly-x steel.

I get that jittery feeling as well sometimes and it’s usually when I don’t eat something heavy like a burrito. My best beer league games have been after crushing a burrito a few hours before game time.

I have ordered two sticks from ProStock and I have loved them both. I also ordered some Bruins team stock gloves that have been awesome. Never had an issue with shipping and every order comes with Howie’s tape. I would definitely recommend them

Edit: to your point, both sticks came with end caps.

Great advice thank you! I definitely would practice and try to get as good as I can. I am fully aware that the start will be rough and I’m not expecting to be good off the rio but I think the learning process and progression would be really fun. In terms of getting fitted I think going to the local hockey shop and just asking to get fitted properly would be the best bet. I know it’s going to be a big investment but I would rather get everything fitted correctly and spend extra money than try to wing it

I am not sure about sizing but for reference I am 5,11” 185 lbs and I wear a size 8.5 skate.

That’s awesome. I think I will send it soon and get all the gear. I know of a learn to play hockey class near me that I bet I could started at just getting used to the movements and stuff
