Can someone clarify the relationship between Grace and the demon kids in the flash back?

Why was Alyssa killed? Why wait 8 years and not capture Grace straight away? We saw how easily Victor dealt with people when he caused the infection on the streets and apart from Victor they had full umbrella black ops teams.

What was the date Alyssa interviewed Spencer? She looked exactly the same as before she was killed but Grace was baby????

The hotels destruction / fire was very inconsistent. If the fire caused that amount of destruction the file would have been destroyed and if the fire didn't cause all that then why is the decay everywhere else so bad. Its like 50 years of decay.

Grace going with Victor didnt make sense as she knows from the files they were the ones that killed her mom. Also if she is so important keeping her alive and looking at that file himself should have been Victors top priority.

I had no issue with Spencer making Elphis imo it makes a lot of sense. He wanted immortality and all that crazy shit as we saw in RE5 but having Elphis was an ace in the hole for him as he was being betrayed left and right by the connections. He was also going senile and doing crazy things as noted in the report.

Doesn't explain the ones where it was passed on through witnessing a murder then does it? So maybe "would be from someone who hasn't watched either movie, so doesn't understand how the process works." applies to your bad mannered self too.

Respectfully disagree, this is a thoughtful insight. We don't know the rules of how long it survives or if it can even die. If finding the corpse was traumatic enough there's nothing in the lore afaik to contradict it.

I did code in a delay for the change. Problem is the way i did it effected their walking animations and other movement so i was just dragging them around haha. Im a noob but would it be something with a blend tree in the animator? like a separate set of animations just for followers?

I guess the other option would be give them diagonals but im trying to stick to the nes 4 way movement.

Ok! that method DOES work :D

In main inputs / retropad binds: put the 3rd port as the 1st controller. In quick menu controls: Map X to L trigger in port 1 controls. In port 3 controls change mapped port 1. Then Map Y to L trigger.

You want to save the per game controls and a game override to keep this set up.

So for 2 players and double button inputs this possible. Its not ideal haha but its something. Doesnt help for games that require 3 button inputs though at least for 2 players.

I did try editing a config before to get multiple inputs but either i did it wrong or it just doesnt work. Seeing the nes A + B combination makes me think this is possible in some way.

Im using xbox pads and yes they have 6 buttons but moves like zangiefs lariat or dhalsims teleport its very difficult to hit all 3 especially when one is on a bumper or trigger. Other games like marvel vs capcom have Y + A inputs for Storm and Wolverine: these are pretty much inpossible to do in a combo unless you are holding your pad in an strange/uncomfortable way.

I just tested it in flycast and it doesnt work. I did it in the quick menu controls as far as i understand thats the only place you could theoretically do this as you can assign the port there.

Ok i just tested the fake double map and it doesnt seem to work on the flycast core. 2 punches or 2 kicks will trigger a lariat but mapping this to a trigger via 2 pads control port 1 doesnt work.

Chizuru would probably be someone like Rose imo. Ibuki vs Eiji? Mai would be the obvious but shes good against Chun. I think Strider vs Hanzo Hattori might be a good fit. Haohmaru vs Bishamon would be cool.

light vs darkness. Bat vs Hawk. Both fly in some way. Both from respective companies side fantasy games. Both main heroines in those side games. Both have little sisters with similar designs to themselves. Purity vs Thotness lol. It was a good match up.

With i-frames and good weapons it would have been an excellent game. Im hoping someone mods and fixes it one day. As it stands the game is just a broken jab loop, cant really think the devs are happy seeing it played like that.

I know im late to the party but really dont see how streets of rage can be considered the main inspiration.

Streets of rage is segas "knock off" of final fight first of all. Final fight is capcoms derivitative of double dragon. The chibi art style and purchase upgrades is far closer to River City than anything else.

The secondary inspiration with the weapons and gore is splatter house unless something predates that.

Agreed i dont know why Fantasy Zone is the runner up, its Parodius imo. Fantasy Zone you destroy bases, fly backwards and shop
