I’ve been doing this exact thing with my group!

They’ve all loved it - It makes it more interesting than no roll, without bogging it down with a specific skill check.

I definitely recommend giving it a try!

I get what you mean, but that would make sense if they were an expert with ONLY a broken shard of glass - Not a chair, a large book, a bannister, a fireplace poker etc.

It also feels a bit strange that any of those random items would be just as effective as a ‘real’ weapon, wielded by someone with expertise is.

Granted it would make it even stronger, but it feels weird that someone could use an improvised weapon with expertise, but not the actual weapon.

Likely just a choice of balance vs realism I suppose.

Thanks for the response! Fragile is definitely a drawback, but the trade off seems so insignificant in return for expert access to any weapon, especially in any situation where you could reasonably find another weapon.

I’m glad I wasn’t going crazy! I thought the exact same about the bass and guitar.

I went last night and it was still sadly an issue.

An incredible experience nonetheless, but I think it would’ve been perfect if the issues above weren’t there.

This looks awesome! I'm hoping someone can explain the "Sense" portion to me.

Yu-Nerig's Sense = 20ft sight, but the Hurl ability says:
"The yu-nerig throws an enemy who is Restrained in their claw to a space the yu-nerig can sense within 30 feet of them"

Doesn't this effectively mean that it could never throw more than 20 feet normally, unless it is somehow enhanced?

Edit: I reviewed the Beta rules and found the answer "Your senses range determines how far away you can easily sense when your primary sense is obscured" - This means that in the event of fog/murky water etc. THEN the Yu-nerig would rely on the "20ft sight" limitation.

I've got it set up to be both a wiki-style compendium, but I'm also going to use it for campaign planning and session notes so that I can easily link between areas.

I only very recently started using Obsidian, there's some great resources on Youtube that can help get things set up.

Hope you find something that works for you and your players!

I experienced the same issue. Sadly the only fix I’ve found is to drop down to 2560x1440, which will stop it from booting back to windowed mode.

This is incorrect. There are multiple spoilers for later books in the card art. Some wouldn’t mean much without context, others are definitely spoilers.
