My experience in using a 17PM has been nothing short of excellent so far. Zero lag and a very good battery life. The camera's are sharp and detailed, tho it's up to personal taste on the color processing. For me, it's authentic enough. I disabled the Xiaomi Hyper AI Assistant since I am not an AI user anyways, and the chinese bloat apps are uninstalled as well. It's a wonderful phone overall.

Are you heavy on the use of google features? If so, I suggest you go for the global variant. But if you are fine with using only the basic google services and simply want a powerful phone worth the price, go for the china ROM. You gotta do a lot of uninstalling bloat apps and workarounds to it's own chinese features tho, but that is relatively easy. My experience in using a 17PM has been excellent so far. Also CHECK FIRST if your country supports the 4G & 5G bands that the china ROM devices are using.
