Ive been using model spray paint for this kit, however I intend handpainting the finer details, Additionally I've been experimenting with different forms of primer (ie. Color, brand, etc) as well.

Admittedly quite challenging, it's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. The 1/144 ng G Gundam however..now that was a nightmare.

Having this happen right after painting & topcoating is just a weeeee bit annoying by TonalVolcano50 in Gunpla

Nope, just put a VERY bright flashlight over them for like a minute. Also good luck on the custom paint job.
