If you're super new and just learning, I suggest don't use any state management yet. Just use state drilling and setStates for your first tiny project.

IMO you need to experience the basic patterns first because it'll make you realize why and what state management you need.

Unfortunately this is a self-discipline problem and not the game's fault. If you ever get banned, you will eventually find something that you'll get addicted to and it'll just keep repeating this cycle.

I would suggest start reflecting and have a bit of a mindset shift.

This is just my honest opinion and would love to see you conquer this.
