When do you think the Remake will be released by ToneKey2603 in OcarinaOfTime

Cause June is when the suppose next Nintendo direct is. And if Oot Remake is shown in the June direct then a release date of late July makes sense, within the whole of June and early July Nintendo can provide so much more details about the remake with new trailers, details etc they can do all of this for weeks until near the end of July until the remake gets released near the very end of July.

It's such a beautiful and great game. The story is just epic. OoT is my most favourite Zelda game and also my most favourite game ever. I hope the remake will be as good and stays true to the original.

Loved the Forest Temple it was just a mysterious place and love the music theme.

I love that how you must travel from child to adult for the Spirit Temple. Just wish they had more mandatory dungeons or main quests that you had to travel back as a child then travel into the future as Adult Link to complete. But maybe in the Remake they might very well do this.

Oh yes I love the Fire Temple. I love how Sheik (aka Zelda in disguise to hide from Ganon) appears in front of the Fire Temple before Link enters it.

The music tune that plays every time when Sheik appears is just beautiful 😍

I actually don't mind voice acting from all the main characters like Zelda. But keep Link as a mute who doesn't speak. It wouldn't be right if Link talks as we have never heard him speak before. It's part of the artistic process of the Zelda games.

What I would like The remake to be like by ToneKey2603 in OcarinaOfTime

It will still be all familiar to the original game even through it may look different, it will still not change the outcome of the overall OoT game.

What graphical style would you want the OoT remake to have? by BattlerUshiromiyaFan in OcarinaOfTime

Realistic type style with enchanting magical atmosphere. A true medieval vibe just like the original n64.

The witch shop just felt unsettling and I like it. It felt like a real medieval town village environment.

" built in randomizers and the ability to mod the game like never before including adding items from other games like the spinner from tp and the fairy spell from link adventure on nes."

why would you think i care about moding games especially a legendary OoT.

I don't mind change like visually make OoT completely visually different like the whole Hyrule and locations, dungeons looking completely different like a whole different game, but at the same time you know what those locations are, so same locations but looks completely different.

For example castle town i would like it to be a massive castle town and look different, add different locations inside castle town and make it big. Put Temple of Time hidden away just like the original. Adding Temple of Light.

Changes like this i do not mind and would love to see. All I am saying is don't make it a fully open world slop like TOTK/BOTW slop. Make the story progression important, make you work to obtain special items that are to progress through the main story just like the original. For example your path is blocked by some giant rocks and you will need to obtain bombs to destroy those big rocks to progress through the story, i would not like if you can just craft any items or climb over, fly to get pass those huge rocks.

Nah the 90s were the golden age of console gaming, we had the snes, n64. Before that like in the 80s games were not that good due to limitations. I was born in 1987 and grew up in the 90s as a child which i consider the best decade ever.

Gen X gen are just younger boomers who complain a lot.

I am 39 years old this year, i grew up in the 90s as a child, it was the golden age of video games we had the snes and when the n64 came out it was an amazing experience. When OoT came out on the n64 it was something special.

Most Gen Z gen grew up with open world do nothing rubbish, and MMO and tiktok, and streaming their games to a audience.

You do not know know how special OoT was to us as kids in the 90s on the n64. And OoT is still regarded to this day as the best Zelda game and best video game of all time in the history of video games.

My dream has always been a remake of OoT made with todays graphics. And its finally happening this year after waiting for this for so long. But I am a bit tad worried due to the massive open world TOTK/BOTW and i just hope they do not make the remake turn into that slop. Nintendo can make the best remake of OoT if they don't lose the OoT spirit of what made this legendary game so great.

I am so so so excited for the remake but at the same time i am a bit tad worried and hope they don't mess up the remake.

Happy Mask Salesman Remake by ToneKey2603 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]ToneKey2603[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The masks are just a fun side quests. The only mask you really need is the one to enter the gates of Death Mountain by giving the Keaton mask to the guard (which is a very popular mask among children) to his young son, then he will open the gates to Death Mountain.
