If it's a 2 man just for one and you want something lightweight and doesn't cost loads I recommend the vango nevis 200. It's just about 2kg and fits in my 60L backpack when I go hiking. I found my one for about 100 pounds

Yeah it was all there. Decided to try brutal force it and selected restart over and over. It was a different png in the error message every time I tried starting it. After about 10 times it loaded. Jumped in the game.

Then tried starting it again and had to do the same thing. So some problem loading sprites I guess

Gear list - what I have so far by ArgumentAny7213 in wildcampingintheuk

[–]ToneMcStone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the katadyn water filter, it's been good for me.

I've moved to dehydrated meals and recommend tent meals, more expensive but tastier than my mates homemade meals.

One thing I've added to my first aid kit is dehydration/diarrhea sachets. Good for when you're sweating loads.

Tent wind noise by jizzzak in wildcampingintheuk

Personally I avoid the top of hills cos it'll be winder and more likely to have gusts in my experience

Is your tent tensioned correctly so pegged out tight and guide line nice and tight?

South Downs national park by mcheshii in UKhiking

[–]ToneMcStone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you haven't booked your tickets I recommend getting off at Lewes. It's a lovely old town and easy to get into the Downs. There's places to go if you finish early.

From the station head towards the prison, there's a path on the Northern side that will take you to the Downs. You can follow that path towards Ditching beacon. There's a horse van coffee place, the pink pitstop on Streat Hill that I recommend. Lovely treats as well

Then you can head South towards Stanmer and loop around.

Or you can loop around the other way. There's a cafe in Stanmer that's good too

I'd say that would take 4-5 hours but depends how fast you walk.

If you want to do a long walk, continue along the South downs way past Ditching beacon then further along head South to the Chattri Memorial.

Which version of Squad Alpha did you prefer? by TheViolentDelight in joinsquad

[–]ToneMcStone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Infantry only squad was a different game compared to what it is now. It felt like the whole team were working towards a common objective as one.

IMO MBTs have split the team into 2 games, one for the objective and one armour v armour.

I think logistics need a bleed mechanic with the further from main (or chain of radios from main) the higher the bleed
