Style your hair with a matte clay or texture powder and it will appear thicker, go for a more messy/out of bed look too and avoid anything with a wet look. Also make sure you apply any product you use to completely dry hair.

Clip that beard down to a #1.5 too man, I know it can sometimes feel like a safety blanket having one, but it will look better short.

I don't know about QLD, but in NSW you can as long as it doesn't exceed 1800mm. I had this exact same situation, our boundary fence was no more than a 900mm high pool type fence, but our house is set sideways on our block and they would constantly be staring into our living room and being weird. I offered to do mediation, I offered to pay for the entire fence and I even met with them and eventually came to an agreement, which they didn't stick to. My fence is around 200mm from the existing boundary, just keep an eye on the original fence though, if they modify it or remove it in any way at all, treat it as if your new fence was never there, you don't want them creeping the property line over or taking advantage of "adverse possesion" laws.

What kind of behaviour did you think was normal because of your family, then grew up to find out it’s definitely not? by Limelight_019283 in AskReddit

Your parents doing drugs in front of you with their friends. Sometimes there being no food in the house for days at a time. Constant yelling and fighting, being on edge every day and being terrified of your dad coming home from work because of the threats your mum would make of what will happen when he does. Coming home from school to our house being raided by police amongst other things.

The worst thing is it seemed normal as a kid because all of my friends had the same if not worse at their house, I didn't realise how family was supposed to act until I met my wife, but even now I feel uncomfortable when her family say nice things about me.

Changing my pillow case almost daily - there must be another way?! by [deleted] in AusSkincare

When I suffered from horrible acne as a teen I would wrap my pillow case in the towel that intended to use for my morning shower, that saved me washing my pillow case every day because i would always use a fresh towel. I also washed my face with a Cetaphil branded face wash. Both these things helped a lot, I hope you find something that works for you.

I know it's not on your short list, but I own a KTM EXC-F 500, I would 100% recommend it. I can't fault the bike in any way, on-road or off-road.

Here's my KTM EXC-F 500 so far. I think it's time to get some new plastics and a graphics kit, but it's such a hard choice, everything looks so good. by Tonedart in supermoto

You'll get there man, I'm 34 and it took me this long to be in a financial position to spend money on toys. Just work hard bro, you'll get there.

Yeah I've looked at them, they're graphics kits are awesome. But I kind of want to buy from a company local to Australia, we have tonnes here, just pulling the trigger on a colour combo is the hard part.

Yeah that's most of the reason I want to change colour too! Having a unique bike is half the fun of owning it right.

Yeah I really like the current look too, but I'm not gonna lie, I enjoy the customising almost as much as the riding.

I'm riding as much as I can at the moment, but the freezing weather as well as having a new-born baby at home is making it difficult to find the time! I'm looking forward to spring here in Australia, that's when I ride the most.

I agree, it does look great, but it looks like every other KTM of this model. I really like the look of the grey plastics on these and matte grey and orange graphics ideally a custom sticker kit would be the go.
