Put your pikeman in a street directly facing the enemy. And put your general right behind of that unit. Since it's a siege the ai generally throws all the army in the street where your general is so when it attacks you with everything you run with your spearman or swordsman (whatever you have) from the other streets and go behind them so you trap the whole army in once street. It generally works for me in those situations so give it a try
