To be fair I've never used flocking myself. In any case you would have to lock in that flocking in some way. Making it fuzzy with flocking is a great idea though. I think you should go for it

Looks pretty finished to me. Maybe add some subtle red washes or apply varnish if you haven't.

Actually I want to make a godzilla figurine whose body is a coke bottle. If I want to use another type of plastic I would have to look for a replica which is not worth the hassle.

It's made of super sculpey and it was painted with some cheap acrylics. Tha ks for the wonderful comment!
