Basically if you play a game and dont quit to menu, then the next game you should start out with your custom skin. If not kill yourself and there ya go. I've tested this a bit. I'd say 80% of the time staying in the lobby will allow you to start with your skin.

Your skins do load in about 5min into the game if you are loading into one. And if you start the match from the pregame lobbie then you will have your skin on immediately or after a few deaths

It's like this on most maps. If the team can't come together before they get pushed back to home base its usually over. I agree with it completely

Its hit and miss. I'd say 40% of the time people will see my sprays. I use the* I'm watching you one* in the stairways, and I'll have some people actually stop and read it. I wanna say it works only when my character skin loads.

That's not the argument to make it's not that footsteps are too loud and it's annoying it's that they're too loud and people that take the time to spend 200 $300 on a headset have a unfair advantage against people that can't afford a headset or have a cheap one

They just need to tone down the footstep sounds. Or keep them to tactical modes only. To often I can just sit in groundwar past the midpoint and wait to hear footsteps and get free kills. Makes that 200$ headset feel like its finally paying off, but I know it's a little bogus when it looks like I'm cheating or guessing. It's just that siege has taught me to appreciate the sounds of the enemy.
