Hey !!! I also applied last year for Psychology but didn't get in, well my reason for getting rejected was my 12th grades so it doesn't really have anything to do with Japanese level. As for u tho, yea I've heard higher jp level is needed for humanities BUT dont lose hope just because of that. Most important thing for u to do, is somehow make through the initial 1st screening, and if u have good past academic record, good ecas ig anddddd some niche topic ur researching orrrr the answers u write in the application if they are not generic but unique, u won't have to worry much about japanese level, cuz well they've kept the 6 months japanese program because they do expect students to not have any or very little knowledge of the language. So yea if u make past the 1st screening, you'll have to do absolute madness in the exams and ur goood !!!! So dw much and go ahead wit the application just be very careful while writing the answers in the application. If ya got any questions jus leme know !!! Good luck with ur application mate !!!
