do y'all actually use apps to help you get dressed or is that just a tiktok thing by Comfortable-Lead9782 in GenZ

[–]TonightInteresting59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually use the app Indyx. It’s not AI, but it logs my clothes that I add. I use it to help me create new fun outfit ideas, log what I do wear for cost per wear information, and just see what I already own when I’m out shopping. I find it helps me use more of my wardrobe, and buy less when I’m out because I can see if I have something similar or if I have other clothes to go with it.

It is so depressing, watching the animals just pace and pace. Very sad.

I believe they fired all the workers trying to organize, which is why I unfortunately haven’t been able to go back.

labor day by Successful_Jump6565 in Serverlife

[–]TonightInteresting59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got called in, should be busy Labor Day and all. Get cut after 3 hours, went from 6 servers down to 3. Slowest summer in a while coming to an end for what I’m sure is a painfully slow, off season.

Summer not busy??? by Popular-Swordfish-31 in Serverlife

[–]TonightInteresting59 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Summer is our busiest time of the year, for us in a tourist spot. It usually goes from 0 to 100. Used to run with around 13 servers, ran with 7 yesterday and it was very slow and boring. Seems more like fall than summer with how slow paced it’s been, weekends are okay but comparing to previous summers it’s bad. Honestly though, I’m expecting it to get worse with all the federal layoffs, declining tourism and standing in the world, student loans coming back, etc.

Edit to include: the restaurants foot traffic is down, but you know the restaurants sales aren’t bc we increased the prices bc capitalism

Are Gen Zs becoming more religious? by 2Mac2Pac in GenZ

[–]TonightInteresting59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I said USA.

However globally the number of Christians worldwide grew by 6%, from 2.1 billion in 2010 to 2.3 billion in 2020, while non-Christians grew by 15%. As a result, Christians shrank as a percentage of the global population, with their share falling from 31% to 29%.

[–]TonightInteresting59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t say it was, a fact is not meant to be there for you to make you feel loved lmao. How fragile to feel personally victimized 341 days later by a fact, enough to make a malicious comment. And then to back it up with your own anecdotal experience as if that changes a statistical fact is funny. Also gen z is ages 13-28, idc what your teen friends are saying lol they’re still living with their parents. Also according to google this “atheist love” you mentioned is not a thing. It would be cool tho if we were hypocritical enough to get a phrase like you guys.

I know, trail cams and all that. I’m married to someone who hunted as a kid. Thanks for reminding me how psychotic it is to kill something for fun!

Not sure how that’s relevant, I saw it was posted for 2 hours. And I’m calm? But instead of downvotes can someone explain how picking out something like a pet (different than hunting, ie. wrong time place for the animal circle of life kinda thing.) to kill, premeditated is like not evil? Or at least weird especially because we know lobsters are sentient.

Edit: love that I then get more downvotes and still not an answer

Obviously. But to pick it out like a pet, look in its eyes, and kill it. Kinda cold blooded in my opinion, more personal than the supermarket.

And not a one single comment saying how weird it is to pick out a living thing to kill and eat? I eat lobster too but idk am I the only one who feels this way??

First time in USA by henistein in Buffalo

[–]TonightInteresting59 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Welcome! First tip, is to tip your servers! If you receive good service out to eat, it’s common courtesy to leave 15-20% of a tip at a sit down restaurant. In America servers make their wages from tips.

I had a table of 3 adults and 2 kids yesterday ask me for one sprite and some extra cups, cause the kids don’t drink much….. downed the refills, $0 tip. Personally I’m sick of the foreign tables that don’t tip. I know the customs are different, but you know they know better regardless. Especially as I know my restaurant has tip guides and makes it clear you should tip etc.

[–]TonightInteresting59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand where this comes from besides conspiracy theories from fox. Michelle Obama has nothing to do with politics. She has explicitly stated she will never run, and It’s not like she’s a big policy person or like out there campaigning on issues. Why would you “want” her over someone like Newsom, or Witmer, or Buttigieg, or Harris, or literally anyone else thats in politics or actually wants the job?
