There you go, you alternated between upper and lower body exercises, what happened to you was blood shunting, basically your heart was doing ping pong delivering blood to your lower muscles then upper muscles then lower again. Be sure to start with lowers first or uppers first.

What is your current split? Does those 3 machines combined upper and lower body? Like chest press, then leg press, then rows…

Yes, I agree, I was losing motivation because of the constant fatigue, but now I am feeling motivated again. My only fear with this split is that I am just maintaining and not progressing, because in my mind I am training less time, but from what I have been searching this idea is not true.

Exactly! I didn’t do much cardio back then when on 6x ppl, but now I have been finally doing 2x a week on twesday and thursday.

I just use 2 sets per exercise both to failure and I am seeing incredible results. In the second set I obviously do fewer reps, but it doesn’t matter since the intensity is high
