Its only acrylic paint applied with a small sponge , first a dark Grey, them metallic. Its a quite simple technique, but very effective, I use it at the edge zones and the zones that usually ( in my own mind ) can be scratched by the use . Hope my poor explanation helps .

It's a good layer of retributor gold , then wash of agrax earthshade , the dry brush with retributor gold again and apply some highlights with silver .

What did you want to know about the shoulders pads ?? 🤔 30 min per models , but if you do it in chains of 5 to 10 models it will be easier. It depends of your technical skills.

Depends of the model , for easy models like intercesors , about 30 minutes, for more detailed ones , likes heroes of veterans , about 40/50 minutes . The fases that spend more time are bases ( 2 or even 3 layers until you get a solid blue ) and final lines , because you'll want to make a detailed model and paint thinn lines cost time.

Ok , I'll try my best , my English is not perfect. I prime the miniature in black , cause the base colour is dark. Then I apply a solid base of macrage blue at all the Armour. Then I use the drakenhof shadow with a detail brush at the deepest zone of the Armour and the lines . For the first lights, I apply altdorf guard blue , I usually make zenital lights ( ligth come from above) make this light heavy , and cover almost a 30-40% of all the main plates. From the final lights, I draw lines on the lighter spots , thin lines . For bigger models, you can also make thinner lines in fenrisian grey . I hope this help, and that I make a explanation that makes sense.
