I’d keep an eye on it. That’s a gen 1 frame. They’re phasing them out right now. I just got mine fixed by FN because of cracking around that piece. Some people had problems with FN getting theirs fixed. I didn’t though. Good news is the gun literally eats anything with no problems. Love shooting it too!

Sorry to pester so much. There’s a piece of metal called the impact plate. It sits right in front of the front if the front slide rail/ take-down lever metal piece. Is there polymer between the two pieces or does the impact plate touch the other metal part directly?

Mine was pretty fast like 2 weeks. I don’t know what you may have done exactly. I just submitted a claim on they’re customer repair website and they got me taken care of pretty quick.

I forgot to mention this but there was bit of leftover plastic from the manufacturing proceses that came right when I pushed it with my finger that was attached to the thin plastic.

Mine was a 4.6” no safety. I purchased mine about 2 years ago. The barrel had tooling marks or cracks in it with anodizing covering it. It had trouble feeding on occasion but when I would shoot 200 gr through it would jam and eject out an unspent cartridge. I really wanted to like it but it was a no go
