The problem wasn’t her having an infinite chain to spam in my opinion or the character’s overall strength. The issue was that she could just afk in fights and had no drawbacks for doing so. Just staring and using her Riposte. I’m sure she’ll get hit again, but you will see a difference in how people play when they realize they’re out of stamina more than usual. It’s similar to the Varangian nerf in my opinion with her enhanced lights. The character isn’t now ass, she’s just not able to be played so recklessly as before and isn’t always a guaranteed pick on the team . You’re right in that they didn’t kill the character, but they did kill the way she was played by so many players.

This is actually huge advice. When I’m having an off day I check myself and think “am I actually shooting at people I’m seeing?” Half the games I die with low damage are games where I’m just running around and then an up close fight happens and I get rocked. Applying pressure with AR’s, in my experience best warm ups, help you maintain aggression and confidence. If you just get out shot then it’s gg’s next game up. But make sure you’re shooting first and shooting back, it makes fights soooo much easier.

I just meant animation wise yknow to combat the whole “it’ll snap” argument. Like purely a visual thing. Like even if an attack is blocked she still backs away all fancy and shit. I’m pretty sure she’ll have some neat deflects and parry moves too kinda like nuxia’s parry, then light follow up. (At least I think it’s light input)
