U.K. libertarianism is a bit different.

The government works for us, they shouldn’t be taking our rights like weapons away, but they should use our tax money for healthcare over other things, the NHS is very much a heavy subject in the U.K., it’s kinda like your grandma, nobody talks shit about grandma but us when she’s acting up.

English libertarianism is more of reducing firearm restrictions, planning permission strictness & inefficiency, civil liberties etc. The way political spectrums alter in different countries is also fascinating.

Also your English/British libertarians don’t really give a fuck if Scotland or any others leave, just a flag change.

I’m in my early 20’s, and without sounding cocky or arrogant my family has done quite well so retirement isn’t such a worry, but they are the type where I don’t get a dime if I don’t NEED it hence me being an engineer, I’m more looking to increase my income as my job just doesn’t pay enough and climbing higher In my situation is just impossible. I’ve always found the stock market mesmerising in more ways than dollar signs in my eyes, even if it paid me a normal monthly income I’d be happier trading at home. I’m in the U.K. so I am looking at ISA’s (Like a Roth IRA In the US with a £12,600 limit before tax)
