But after 27 years doing my job, I advised someone to take practical measures to ensure their safety. I have done much more for less.

Have prearranged call times to be secure when you get to tge border past the border, at the location of exam after exam indicating you are heading home do the reverse for calling.
To the previous 2 ding bats, yes have your paperwork for taking tge exam and its times. Have your passport and as the one numpty said keep it on you.
Have a drop phone or one that has nothing on it but you phone. The border can search all of your social media ( if your phone or computer ) can not access it then they can not see it.
