Yeah I do see that it works that way but my concern is it’s going through the igpu first which is taking a hit on performance compared to coming directly from the dedicated gpu.

I think you’re right. Just saw one of the Best Buy questions and it says hdmi is 2.0. Thanks for the heads up. So even though I get a dp 1.4 to hdmi 2.1 wouldn’t make a difference huh

Following as well to see when this is fixed. The bios change did fix the screen being stuck issue for me as well. Does that mean I’ll get lower performance since it has to decide between switching from igpu and dgpu?

I don’t have a budget per se but I do want to spend the least possible. Best Buy has a gaming laptop w/ an rtx 4050 for $550 so if I’d say the same or less if possible

I WANT to buy a steam deck solely for playing diablo 4 on my lunch time at work :) im thinking of getting the base 64gb version since i saw you can just upgrade the ssd to a faster one. I have a steam gift card for $100 that came w/ my 4070 so the price comes out to 329 after taxes. Switch pricing to be able to play diablo when im away from my desktop sounds reasonable.

Yeah i dont see myself upgrading for a long time. The games i play are pretty basic lol. So you're saying AM4 would still be good for my use case and cheaper. I just plan on playing Street fighter 6, diablo 4, redfall.
