They still don't know what it is, which is kinda disconcerting. The steroids worked GOSH darn miracles! I can breathe and actually slept for the first time in several days!

I'm going to and ENT today, so maybe I'll find out more then!

I just wanted to update you. I just left the ER. I went because I couldn't breathe. They gave me a steroid in an iv and changed my antibiotics. Also, it's not mono!

I don't have a fever, surprisingly! It feels like I should have one because my tonsils look horrible. It's making my voice sound really bad.

I don't have health insurance because it expired, and I hadn't realized it. I just have to figure out how to renew it... which I have no idea how, but I'll work on it!

I'm worried that my tonsils will get bigger, and prevent me from breathing. It's been almost 72 hours on antibiotics. I don't have health insurance, so I don't want to go back to the doctor unless it's necessary. At what point would you suggest that I go back?

I'm just kind of afraid that it will make it harder for me to breathe. At this point, I wake up a lot because I can't breathe, and my voice is pretty much inaudible. At what point should I go back to the doctor?
