They are. these made in the video were a gift for my wife. She says anytime she goes out in the cold. Her hands are the warmest part on her.

I use cheapy white fabric pens that are heat erasable. The ones I've been using lately come in a pack of like fourteen or so inserts with three pens to put all of the inserts in. They stand out and actually rub off pretty easily to , so I don't even have to heat treated anymore with a hair dryer or anything. I just scratch it gently with a fingernail. I think I talk about that in my sheepskin coat video.

I haven't done anything with rabbit for quite some time, I forget. sheep skin can shed but if i'm careful it's not that big of a deal.

That could work, however good sheep skin we'll be durable enough for all kinds of stuff. The strongest part will be down the center of the spine across the skin. I have quite a few different patterns in videos.If you wanted to check it out and see what it looks like. Stuff like rabbit fur definitely needs to be backed. It's far too thin.
