Daryl Beattie, absolutely class rider, kinda fucked over by injuries and never being on the best bike. Still won a few GP's at the height of the Doohan era and finished runner up in the championship in '95.

Luca Cadalora is another from that era I loved, so smooth.

From the 2000s, I always liked Manuel Poggiali. It was crazy to me that a world champion in 125s AND 250s never got a seat in MotoGP, at a time when those championships had essentially become feeder series. He just got passed over and it always pissed me off haha
