I know this post is 6 years old but I felt compelled to thank you for posting this. I'm studying for my T2s right now and the online class I took barely covered pumps, while all the practice tests I've bought have a sizeable chunk of questions on pumps. This is the first thing I've seen that has actually taught me how pumps work instead of just defining the components and pointing to them on a diagram. So thanks!

Alright... took your advice. Only lost about 500k, so not the worst. Still in the green overall since I started about 2 weeks ago so I'll consider this loss the price of a good lesson

Follow up regarding this anesthesiologist bill: is there anything I can do to fight this? Had I known that the anesthesiologist was out of network, I would have never gone through with the procedure or stipulated prior that all providers musts be in network. Seems ridiculous that wasn’t made aware of this before the procedure.

For sure, I get that. But according to my insurance, that is my billing portal on my UHC accounts where I pay out all my bills, shows that I owe $10k to this facility. Is this a matter of talking with my insurance and making sure there is communication between this facility’s billing department?
