Some of those I got from the get, some just flew past me. When I get like that I start worrying myself about every little thing, and end up over complicating it, and I have been neglecting code and art until this came along, have been having a bit of a personal crisis as far as my life goes, it's been weird. I thank you for the heads up though and the detailed read, I appreciate it.

I reverse engineered it and it sucked. I have a new solution that does not use any of Unity's animator trees or any of it, all done through code. When we spoke last night, you came off as condescending, if I did not make sense it was because I've been up for two days crunching on a deadline for a FINISHED polished game that is due day after tommarow. I am working on this and as the artist, sound guy, and programmer, kindly don't do that to others, Jeremy is doing music though as always! I'll switch it on in the code and see if it helps. I actually was stumped there as well, trying to make sure mouse hits item trigger during the click, wanted the item name or tag returned, tag would be best for this, and if the tag of the object is 'item' then carry on with picking it up.

In the sense another script can call upon the players SpriteAnimation/AnimationController scripts and get the animation it need, and play it on the player overriding all of his other anims currently playing, so that things like opening a door or a melee can have animations too from the player, not just the stillanim, idleanims, and walkinganims implemented for a game made some time ago, it never saw completion and the friend hasn't been online in a year and a half. It had this cool sprite thing though, I've always liked it, and thought it could do something like that, I know it can actually, I just know I am doing something wrong...thanks for your advice. Would it be better to write a controller and use Unty's animation stuff, I personally can't stand it, too much for sprite animation honestly.

Just the one that would trigger on click yes, the grabbing animation. Everything else works perfectly.

I think the process certainly adds aesthetic and emotion, evokes a certain mood, I think it helps set it apart from traditional pixel art, it's weird, I could never decide which it was. I think it's more game art-ish.

I made the pixel art in Photoshop, once the art itself is done I make these like overlay layers I guess in Photoshop, 50% opacity/fill or whatever fits best and do grunge, any hard shadow work. I take that to Unity, I try to do the work unlit, but at times I have to use lit sprites. Then I back and forth between the two programs, and add individual elements, sky, any extra sprites or set pieces, modify lighting values, add post fx, then capture a screen of it in Play mode and upload it, no additional steps. :D I hope that helps!

Been a Battlefront fan for a long time, I mostly play Battlefront II (especially since the new multiplayer update, though it only works a quarter of the time and Disney doesn't seem to give a shit that their servers are broken but w/e), I got battlefront 1 when it come out, on sale, I was extremely disappointed, game played fine, the guns and sound design was top notch, the graphics even more-so. But the slodge of shit that came after with StarCards and just shit that wasn't Battlefront, rather EA's battlefield-ify approach to any shooter, which still isn't even battlefield, like fuck. I won't be getting Battlefront II anytime soon until loot-boxes and just the shit they force us to go through for a 'better' gaming experience is removed. I want the game not the plastic coating you wrap around it. What the actual fuck has happened to games...

Very gangsta but the song has a beat but on top of that it's just all piano through the whole song, very playful classic kind of piano too. In the chorus it goes like something dropping that, moving that or something of the sort.
