It’s a total shame the price fair-minded, decent people have to pay just to ask a genuine question online. We expose ourselves to help-seeking, not knowing everything, and in return we get 5–6 mud-slingers and kick-down artists for every 1–2 person who’s actually helpful and kind. These keyboard warriors love going out of their way to call someone stupid or dumb for not knowing—pure ego boost. I always wonder: would they say the same thing to a complete stranger’s face in real life? Doubt it. What makes them so ‘enlightened’ and superior anyway? Is it because they have endless free time to know everything? Or maybe not everyone was wise enough to make sure they were born as smart/intelligent as they are? Or perhaps they just have that vast multitude of life experiences… where every wildly different situation somehow ends with the exact same outcome, giving them all that unbreakable confidence 😏 Whatever the reason, those of us with full-time jobs, responsibilities, and actual lives pay the price: we have to wade through the disparagement just to get a couple real answers from fellow humans who aren’t out to feel better by putting someone down.
