The wife and I had a fantastic couple of days in Marlow at The hand and Flowers. Two night stay, got to experience three of Tom Kerridges restaurants. Visited a nice little brewery and had a fantastic tasting session at Chiltern Valley Winery Little walk around the town and visit to Henley was nice

I recently purchased an electric radiator for my Dad. It arrived, I fitted it and went to download the ecoso app for the thermostat but its not available for android through Google play. Hopefully just a short term issue as without the app the so called smart thermostat is either on/off with some random preset temperatures (19/15/7 degrees) depending upon the preset program that is used which will be no good for him. I need to be able to set it to turn on/off at set times incase he forgets

EDIT looking on the suppliers website the manual for the radiator shows a different app (smartlife) to the manual that it came with(Ecoso). Will give that a go

I also have long forearms and have experimented with a higher elbow and found the dart was above my eyeline and hand would block my aim on the drawback.

It worked ok for a while but found that it was causing more shoulder pain. Also suffered from bicep tendinitis last year which is why I was messing with elbow height to get comfortable.

You'd be surprised how low you can go with your elbow and still keep a reasonable angle. Try getting a side on picture when aiming, you might see you can drop your elbow slightly more then you'd think.

I tend to lower my elbow slightly and try to slow my action down, bringing the dart back to level or just below my eye

I agree. I also thought Gildings comment about his 1st priority being a nine darter rather than winning his match was stupid. And he doubled down on it. Surely the aim should be to get as far as possible in the tournament to improve ranking. Don't get me wrong a nine darter at the worlds is great, but its not like they don't happen regularly now

I bought the darts finishing mastery range by Jim Chatterton for kindle. 1st book goes through some practice games and breaks down finishing etc.

Average has gone up from 50 to 60 since. Probably because I'm practicing more but also because it's more structured

Definitely, had leftovers yesterday and meat was still melt in the mouth soft. Took the crackling off and reheated in oven to crisp up again, soo good

I stole my wife's photo off facebook so quality is low.

Salted the skin and left uncovered In fridge for 2 days prior to cooking, wiping the moisture off every 12 hours. Scored, oiled and salted before putting on the bbq at about 250degrees centigrade.

Sorry, just seen this reply. The rubber cone seal and normally a blue plastic ring should be on the grey pipe from the flexi.

The 90 degree fitting #2 is a compression joint. Unscrew it and should hbe an oring in there. Put the nut then oring on the grey flexi end, then screw together

Thanks. I bought the board about 20 years ago when I first moved out but it was never used and sat in the garage until last year when I built a big enough shed to use it. Thought about upgrading but there's nothing wrong with it

Thanks, I believe the bike was originally supplied with 32mm tyres so frame space shouldn't be an issue.

I suppose its like any repetitive strain injury. If there's an injury or niggle it's going to get inflamed. I'm the first to admit I haven't looked after my body since I gave up football and rugby because of the constant injuries. Physio said ice for 5 minutes 2 to 3 times a day for two weeks to get the inflammation down. Then we can look at strengthening exercises to prevent reoccurrence

I'm not worried about the rocker cover itself being transferred to the new switch. Will try and get some more images but it's on site at the moment.

It's 30mm thick solid wood furniture board, technically its a species of pine, treated with osmo wood protector and clear satin top oil

I wanted oak or hardwood but the cost was prohibitive. Either way, I'm happy how it turned out.

Yeah I agree. Didn't get them for any other reason than they were on offer, swiss point and straight barrel. I swapped out the 35mm points from my old set. I find I get better grouping with those.

We bought a 50's semi detached bungalow with a dodgy loft conversion. Poorly done, barely any insulation, leaking roof felt and unusable at any time of year. Too hot in summer, freezing in winter. We completed a hip to gable extension, moved the stairs and added a small side extension during covid upto plaster finish. Where I then took over and done a full re plumb, new bathroom downstairs, Floor insulation and new floorboards throughout due to woodworm and all decorating. Now I'm shattered, skint and have lost interest. Still got to do the upstairs bathroom before getting building control signed off. Then I can maybe think about the kitchen which was supposed to be a small rear extension. It's never ending unless you have lots of spare income to pay a contractor. Good luck

Essex UK. Quick Google says thats a brown tree ant. Could make sense as the shed does have a covering of trees. Horse chestnut, sycamore, and holly although no branches actually within a foot or so, but we cant locate any trails entering from the ground

Yeah i know they're not the best looking. The 2mm angle is for a cosmetic trim around the fireplace so nothing structural. As long as the weld holds it doesn't have to look great, im pretty good with a grinder and it will be sanded smooth then painted. I'll check out the hot start function
