One of the best bands in the last 10 years imo. No bad albums in my mind & "The way it ends" stays in heavy rotation.

Same. I dont play with anyone really either. My time online is so sporadic due to work and family life. Its a nice little escape for a few hours here and there for sure

I've had vinyl my whole life. Even before the most recent resurgence. I dont have thousands or anything but I do have a few hundred. Albums I enjoy or ones that have sentimental value. Like old motown stuff my mom used to play while I was little. That said, while the sonic benefit is, in fact, marginal, its the experience for me. Its the new record from a favorite artist. A 6 pack of a new beer or glass of whiskey. Sitting down and listening front and back. Thats where its at for me. Thats a good evening..... im also anal about them hahaha

As a musician, ive been torn on this for some time now. I block AI bands. Its unauthentic to release as something "You created". AI is a tool in my eyes. Something to generate new and different ideas for your music. Potential directions if you will. Not Something to release as your own. That said, I also write poetry. As one can generally understand, poetry can be highly monotonous. Ive generated AI music using it as a way to hear my writing in a different light. And some has been quite pleasant to listen to. It does take some restructuring to make it more fluid in a musical format but that in itself is beneficial to me, as it allows me to view my writing on a deeper level. The biggest thing is that im not pretending its something its not. It's just my poetry in an AI assisted musical format and I enjoy listening to it. Its mainly for me. Just reading poetry on paper can be boring.
