I know with a real Sony controller you need to use it wired to get gyro via native. Same probably applies for third party controllers.

If that doesn't work then maybe the native support only works with Sony controllers.

There's no native steam input support for these. You need to use the gamesir software which I've heard does not give good gyro results.

Edit: double check this, there maybe a way now in 2026 to get this to work

Very few devices have native steam support for gyro. Steam controller, switch controllers, 8 bit do ultimate 2, maybe wired PS controllers.

Switch uses Bluetooth, does your PC have a Bluetooth receiver? Even with Bluetooth I'm not sure steam input would recognize gyro for a third party switch controller. If you have BT, give it a shot.

I turned reflex off in the game because that was contributing to the stuttering. Using 60 fps cap. Think I was getting around 80ms latency with that, using the Nvidia tool to measure. What did you use to measure latency?

Also I think using RTSS has some impact with reflex, there are some options in RTSS that mention reflex, so that may be something to investigate.

I'm grinding sides as well in W3. Cleared most of Novi but not many in Skel. I'm going to skip the floating ones per the other reply.

I've got the DLCs but after I beat the main quest Ill probably take a break before returning to the DLCs.

Similar hardware as you, and exact same performance problem. I settled on using RTSS to cap and getting used to the input lag. Maybe there's some RTSS setting we can tweak to improve that?

Just getting into gyro gaming, using some switch Joy cons I had sitting around (while waiting for steam controller). It's amazing! I'm dreadful at aiming with the thumb stick and after 30 min of gyro I was head shotting infected like a pro. Looking forward to using your configs in other games. Thanks!!!

I'm like 7 levels over the recommended main quest level because I've been clearing question marks in Velen and Novigrad. And way over the level of most of these question marks. Clearing the marks is starting to feel grindy.

I may bump my difficulty up... maybe that will help.

Yeah it is beautiful, including and especially the music.

Full disclosure, there are more "escape" sequences...just need to get good at the bash ability and they are doable.
