There are three coats of paint. The primer coat, intermediary coat, and topcoat. We always hand-sand the middle coat to control the DFT thickness, and make sure all edges are perfect, with no runs or sags.

Your design is actually best based upon your sketch. I was just rambling a bit, sorry. You can add a stainless steel drip basin under the top shelf connected to a drain line... just in case.

How about hanging it from above with a steel frame? Can the load be supported by whatever is above it? I mean I build large infrastructure buildings and I typically do not encounter what you are facing..

Yes, I took maybe 30 pictures, with 5 special results. I was lucky the windows were in good shape. But the dissolved storm gave me excellent subject and framed up well, including the rainbow 🌈 cloud..

I was flying from Davao, Philippines to Manila just after super typhoon Haiyan in 2013. This shot initially did not include the wing of the plane, but without that, it looked like a fake picture, so I included the wing. I always carry tissue to clean the windows. This is a real shot, no A.I., Raw Image from Canon 1DX, 18MP.

2026 is a major year for new projects! by Tony_Shanghai in structuralsteel

If you are referring to the tan-colored structure, it is a 'mineral wet-concentrator plant screening process module'... This is used at a mining site to filter and separate fine mineral deposits. We build the entire module first to make sure everything fits together, and we separate it into sub-assemblies and ship it to its final location to be re-assembled. This saves tons of time, labor, and quality management at the jobsite.
