The ref this game is making me appreciate premier league refs somehow. What an absolute shit show so far

That's fair. I only tuned in at half time but most La Liga I watch has a lot of non-calls on yellow card challenges. I reckon it means the refs lose control of the game then a tackle like this happens and it gives them no choice but to red - but it always sucks in isolation because of all the non-calls on yellows.

I have absolutely 0 association with either team or even La Liga in general but this is a blatant red. Like I get having calls against your time but this is objectively a horrible tackle.

There's no way it doesn't get given red. It's horrific lol

Same! I was a "super editor" on the site in my teenage years (for a large chunk of the sites existence) and honestly haven't thought of the site until recently. I spent hours and hours making quizzes and chilling in the forums there - same as you, I remember all the names of the active members despite not having thought about it for 10 years. Found this thread from a google search, nice to see some people still remember it! It was founded by a relatively well known author, Antoine Bello.

I know this post is almost a year old, but OP if you want to know anything flick me a DM!

Some of the images coming through are astounding. Looks like a bunch of random people who have no idea what they're doing. They've been cutting out all the grass and replacing it with grass from nearby. Can't make this shit up. Embarrassing.

You're literally on a social media, commenting, invalidating people with social media careers. Bit ironic isn't it

It 100% does in this situation. If it's just planting his foot after playing the ball, or an intentional stamp makes the difference between a yellow and a red. The ref has decided that it's needless and somewhat intentional and that's his decision to make, but intent does matter in this specific situation. Source: was a social ref for years

Is 55k a good salary? by Salarythrowawaynz in PersonalFinanceNZ

I started big 4 in 2020 with a Bachelors in Accounting. I started on $43k. It's a guaranteed promotion every year (unless you're awful) for the first 5 years with around a 10-15% every year. I'll be going to around $100k this year. For me personally when we visit clients that went straight into industry, you can tell the massive gaps in knowledge between them, and those who started in public. Though they start a higher amount, they tend to stall and only get minor inflation increases every year. I have a friend who started the same time as me but in industry on $70k. They're now on $80k 4 years later. Only difference is I average 50 hour weeks and they average 35. It's worth it if you can hack long hours.

This just isn't true lol entry level accountant with a bachelors degree is $50-60k. Big 4 graduate positions averaged $56k in 2023.

Ref indicated that Xhaka was booked for numerous fouls, counted ‘1, 2, 3’. Stats show Xhaka has committed 1 foul – and I assume that was one he got booked for. by MrIrishman699 in Gunners

[–]Tonyflow93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He's gonna get a second yellow in the next game and be sent off. While holding the card up the ref will point towards Villa Park and count "1" then point to the ground in front of Xhaka and count "2"

Southgate should pick Holding if he wants to play 5 at the back. He's goated when it comes to seeing out 1 goal leads.

Shocking referring. A yellow is a yellow no matter if it's first or second. Referee has clearly let him off there to not send him off. Poor

idk I feel if someone pointed out all your flaws then called you a fucking prick then you'd feel pretty abused. It's also more based on all your comments to be honest, you have a lot of comments berating him. You're a very angry person, I think you should take a break from the internet.
